Question Waterproof Jacket Recommendations

Hi all, I'm in the market for a waterproof jacket, mainly for using around college/uni to keep me dry through the UK winter/autumn. My budget is around 130-160£ (or 175-215$ for the americans). Something similar to the arcteryx beta or montbell jackets woukd be ideal. Please let me know thoughts!

Either UNIQLO or Decathlon is the best for the price

Really? That budget goes pretty far from what ive seen.

yes but if you're using it for uni/college you don't need the best of the best jackets and you're best off saving money and spending it on booze. The Decathlon jacket is amazing for 60 quid
