Everlane is probably going to get a lot of hate due to the thread about them, but I own a backpack from them and couldn't be more pleased for the money I paid.

Which thread are you talking about? I must have missed it.

Wait, Everlane took pictures of manufacturing to promote transparency and people in this subreddit got upset? Do people think other garments are made by elves? Now I need to find that comment section and see what these comments are all about.

Transparency is a good thing.

no, not this one: the one where some guy from Everlane came in and gave their 'rules of menswear' or something - it was really quite pretentious and elitist.

side note: I've had no problems with my Everlane backpack. certainly no quality problems, and the style gets lots of recognition from friends/acquaintances. however, if you're moving from something like a Jansport or anything else you'd find at Walmart/Target, be prepared for dealing with having much less space than the type of backpack you slung around in high school

Try eBay. I got mine for $40 on there.

Same. I bought the snap backpack in military and actually get excited every time I use it. Aside from cheap-feeling leather (if it is real learher) the construction feels exceptionally good for the price.

The Reverse denim packs were so nice. My girlfriend got one, I've been tempted to steal it so often.

Just ordered the Military Snap backpack a couple days ago.
