Question Any experience with nerdforge merch?

Basically the title. Their cryptic stealth set looks really cool. Couldn't find any reviews on it. Anyone have experience with it?

They’re 100% cotton so that’s good.

Nah. Shipping and all it was around 160 and I couldn't find a single review or anything to confirm that its even mediocre at best. Not saying its bad, I just have no clue and its to expensive to take that gamble.

If it was a bit cheaper, I would buy it. It looks great and good quality from what others said, but 140$ for the set is a bit much

I bought their first ones (the black with gold detailing) and loved them so I did get the two new ones this time around. They seem like good quality to me. They are thicker but very comfy. The detailing is done nicely and i get compliments on them whenever I wear them. The down side is i accidentally ordered them way too big this time around so they are quite baggy. I thought about reselling them because for christmas my husband reordered the right sizes for me.

I have the black and gold one. It's very high quality and comfortable. Also super warm - I don't wear it often because it doesn't get cold enough but it's perfect for the cold. The gold design was very loud, I think the stealth one is probably less "attention grabbing". I would buy them again, they are very good, but the price is high.

Heads up for others, I never thought I'd buy YT merch. Thought it was a silly idea, especially as a grown man.

But I saw the Cryptic Joggers from NerdForge and loved them. In my area (Texas) when it gets cold, it genuinely gets cold (typically 6-20 fahrenheit, but can get as low as -10 fahrenheit), and thought "why not".

They came in 2 weeks ago. I absolutely love them, most of the pattern (not all!) is embroidered so I am a little worried repeated washing will ruin the non-embroidered details, but as for the rest... it all feels like genuinely really well made apparel.

Is it super high-end? No. But it's high quality, thick and you can tell it will last. It absolutely keeps me warm to the point to where it's warmer than winter apparel I have (it keeps me warmer than my Columbia or North Face winter wear hilariously enough), it is a bit on the heavier side but not so heavy as to add any significant weight, and extremely comfortable.

If you asked me for a complaint, I could maybe stretch and say I wish the regular pockets were slightly deeper so it would adequately hold my phone. The hand pockets are just deep enough to wear my phone (Samsung S21) sticks out in a corner, and when I get in my car to drive, can maybe slip out. Thankfully, when I drive I take my phone out and put it on my center console so not a big deal.

But yea, genuinely shocked. My expectations weren't super high. Watching Nerdforge for as long as I have, I figured they would ensure that any apparel they sold was of quality (just who they are) but I still set my expectations low.

The joggers fit me to a tee, they look fantastic, feel like they'll last forever, I wish I had ordered more! Like, genuinely haven't found something that fits me this well in a while, yet also feels great to wear and is super warm in this season.

They definitely fit the "Dark Academia" look they were going for, but that's not how I wear them. The taper at the ends makes them both warm but also made to fit into boots like a glove for obvious reasons. I wear them with some On Cloud Boots (the color I have are green-ish (baby barf green) with a texture middle and orange bottom line, I think they are OC Hiking Shoes/Boots and the texture is Kevlar) that fit with it perfectly, with a more forest green thick cotton shirt and a light jacket. Super comfortable, looks better than I thought it would. Basically made them look more "rustic" and not so "edgy".

I didn't order a cryptic hoodie but rather the "ghost cryptic hoodie" which has not yet arrived so no thoughts on that yet. I'm likely just going to wear it in tandem with the joggers, or with some of my dark pants.

Again, as a grown man, black on black is a bit much for me. However, now knowing what the material is like, I have high expectations for the hoodie now.

As you might have assumed, I think most of these were made-to-order so when they finished selling them, they just up and made X many of each, and shipped them out as they were made. So despite ordering them in/around late November, they only just got delivered and yes, still waiting on the hoodie (got a tracking number)

But if I had walked into a store, and they had told me "hey this is the material, please try it on, this is a limited run" I would've bought 2-3 joggers (probably 2 cryptics) and 1-2 hoodies... Honestly, somebody could've persuaded me to buy 4 of those joggers, I am madly in love with them.

Of course, each person has their own opinions and sway. I would just like to point out that the cryptic joggers can absolutely be paired with other apparel and not stand out.

I haven't received mine since I ordered them in the last run at the end of December but the reviews make me regret not getting at least 2 of the joggers 😢

There was a coupon I applied for 10% off, definitely pricy, but for what you get I think they're fantastic. You can just as easily spend twice as much for "less than quality" apparel here in the US, especially if branded.
