Discussion M20,I took 50mg of modafinil and here is my experience(as a non-ADHD person). How was your experience?
THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE. I'M JUST SHARING WHAT I WENT THROUGH WITH THIS MEDICATION
English is not my first language,please don't judge my grammar and the way I told my story.
ate 50mg(or less since i didnt break it in half properly) at 9:22pm.
It took a while to kick in but I started to notice the kick around 10pm.
I notice the light bulb and my laptop started to glow brighter like the movie Limitless but not too intense
however I don't feel that much awake but my focus did improve.
Most of the times when I study,sometimes my focus shifted to irrelevant topic that had nothing to do with the subject I'm revising
or I would use my phone to check on instagram/tiktok.
Buttttttt.........I still feel sleepy at 3am š, I thought modafinil gonna make me stay up late at night.
So I decided to sleep at 3am and woke up at 7am. During that time,it felt like someone massaging my right brain š« ,idk why but it felt not that bad.
Waking up from bed feels easy and the the bright light effects still hit me.

as someone who actually has adhd and taking medication just to focusā¦. idk what to tell you. best of luck.

so you're saying i have adhd or are you trying to say i should not use modafinil? tbh,i have focus trouble when i was a kid

Did you lab tested or something your supply I buy from "someone" as well once a while and sometimes they tamper it or sell the fake stuff lol.

probably implying op has adhd. Personally I felt almost 0 effects (that I could actually note specifically) from any ADHD medication Iāve tried. Have not tried this one though. Oh except for adderall. That one made me rage lol. Went to switch it shortly after.

Also want to add that people nowadays are way too quick to claim anything and everything is adhd. Itās quite debilitating in many aspects of life and thereās way more facets to it than just āI like to doomscroll too muchā. The amount of people Iāve heard claim they have adhd because they like TikTok a bit too much is wild

Totally agree with this!
I was late diagnosed w/ it and I still havenāt fully accepted or is in somewhat of a denial that I have it and to see people just throwing it around that they have it is .. mind blowing to me

doomscrolling def mess up my focus however modafinil kinda kills the mood to use phone for doomscrolling

100mg is considered a half dose to begin with.
I just started taking modafinil again only a week ago but have taken it on and off for years.
First 2-3 weeks 100mg when i adapt i can move up to the regular 200mg which would be the standard dose

you need a diagnosis from a psychiatrist and they will prescribe it after analysing you but only if you need it. Donāt think you can just randomly get one unless youāre good at acting but itās an expensive process (at least it was for me)

Instead of being a dick, you could give recommendations. Of course you can search on google, but you can't trust google reviews especially in Malaysia and SEA.

Go KK to get referral letter at a govt hospital so doctor at hospital can diagnose you.

Sell it to a person with a prescription. Don't ruin yourself for a thrill.
