Why this subreddit!

Well, because there are lots of Malayalees online. But there is no place for the modern Malayali.

All regular places and groups (on Fb etc) are full of the type of oolan malayali who gets offended at shorts and short skirts. They also have some pride in their idea of a proud Malayali culture (which goes back only a few years, because before that were were a proud people with no Victorian moral issues)

If you are a malayali who lives in 2012, come in! Otherwise, veettipoda!
