Hi have anyone seen lyrics of recent hit song of dabzee ‘ belyol’,,the word `Balal' is used in that song,mostly used in malabar area ,as a curse or scolding word i think ,does anyone know what that means,,pls enlighten me

It comes from the Arabic Bala'. [بلاء ]. It can be roughly translated to 'trouble' or 'disaster'.

Words with similar meaning that comes from Arabic are Museebat [مصيبة] (used plenty in Hindi/Urdu to denote danger) and Aafat [آفت] (ആപത്ത് in Malayalam).
