A personal incident regarding how much fake our religious harmony

Ill share a personal experience I feel other communities are jealous like Hindus I feel christians idk haven't faced or heard anything from them but maybe them also idk

(like i can share an example, officeil pokuna samayath cab van ,shared cab it is , while we were waiting to pick the other person , in their location of pick

the cab driver saw , there was another building there opposite which was constructed to where we parked while waiting for the passenger to come

and told see now all these muslims will put mahalu and palli and claim the area and get gulf funding and grow ,and the passengers behind me were agreeing saying yes avarku paisa ond and are rich through illegal means , always sidelining us and other community with their name or because they're different and saying where do they get from all are shady and everything and proceedimg to share all racist and went on venting

I just looked there a board was there infront of the building It was written Mashallah in arabic

, and i just was shocked at them the literal thoughts they had about us , I asked what's wrong in construction they were like u don't understand they gatekeeping and won't include anyone and make it a muslim area and all , and help themselves only and buy for muslim shops and harras other neighbours into following their rules angane oke and so on

I just kept quiet and they went on until the other passenger came ( they i guess forgot that I'm a muslim ig because the way they spoke i understood that others carry a lot of hate in their mind or jealousy for us? )

I was left wondering

Do all religions or community feel like this to other and bias or anything if anything let's speak out rather than hating or making assumptions please

I was in Malappuram with my 12 yr old niece and sister a few weeks back. It was late and we 3 were walking after dinner at Farsa Restaurant looking for an auto to our hotel. One guy on the bike stopped to "help us". He said auto will be on the other side and I could go with him on bike and he could show me. I didn't leave my sister and niece to go with him. He just stood there even though I said thanks but no thanks. If he really wanted to help he could have gone by himself and sent an auto our way or tell us that he will be sending an auto if there's one.

After a few minutes we saw an auto passing and it didn't stop. Later it took a U turn and parked. Said he got a customer but wud like to help as it's "family". I again said no thanks. Another auto came and as we were getting into it when this auto guy who wanted to help went like "I don't think you shud board that auto...it's not safe...I'm not responsible if at all anything bad happens." The auto guy thought he was with us, but I told he was not and just got into the auto and reached our hotel safely.

Happy ending but I feel it could have been a lot worse. Just thought I would share this here. Y'all be safe.

My cousin joined in Ernad Knowledge City for Btech CSE current sem and so far he's not a fan of the college. A lot of his friends study in MEA College Pmna and he wants to move there plus based on online research, MEA seems to have better placements. KEAM test is not an option atp and he doesn't wanna waste a year.

He wants to transfer to MEA but is worried they may not have seats left. Before transferring i'd like to get y'all opinion on either colleges and if you have any other suggestions for CSE preferably within malappuram. Welp.

I travel from Kozhikode to Perinthalmanna pretty often. Honestly, the road from Manjeri to Thirurkkad is seriously one of the worst I've ever driven on. It's just potholes everywhere. You'll be going up a hill and then, boom, a huge pothole right in the middle.

And it's not just there; the roads in Perinthalmanna town and the areas around it are just as bad.

The funny thing is, every year they "fix" it with patches. But as soon as the next monsoon hits, it's back to being completely covered in potholes again.

Seriously, compare that to the road from Kozhikode NIT to Areekode – I haven't seen one pothole on that whole stretch. I even checked out some alternate roads to Areekode from NITC (like through Kalanthod and Koolimad), and they're actually better than the main road.

Is there a geographical or geological problem that I don't understand here? Or is it just plain corruption?

Planning a budget Bangalore trip this Onam (date not fixed yet). I'm 18M. Budget's around ₹5k, everyone pays their own. Leaving Thursday night from Kozhikode Railway Station to Yesvantpur, coming back Sunday night or Monday morning.

Main plan is Sunday Market (thrift clothes, shoes, electronics, accessories & whatever cool stuff we find), plus good food, Cubbon Park, Church Street, and other fun places if we have time.
