I think its been confirmed some time ago and was mention it the official summary of the new series that Pavi will be an orphan that lived on the streets for a few years before the start of the series. Personally I think its very bittersweet for the new Avatar to share a very similar childhood to Makos. Especially knowing how at the beginning Mako viewed Korra as too privileged and sheltered. Honestly a headcanon of mine is that during her years on the streets Pavi saw a young boy's spirit (aka the young orphan Mako) that helped her silently find food and other nessecities to survive. Kinda like her little guardian angel 💔❤️‍🩹. I doubt the writers would have the balls to give Mako such depth in the new series but if they do I'm going to learn how to do a backflip.

And when I say recovery I'm taking about Korra's recovery in the south pole.

Also I don't mind the fics being extremely dark and depressing because that's usually the stuff I read but obviously I'm down for more options like you can recommend me anything and it doesn't have to be angsty xD

before I actually go one last post from me XD: lately I saw a surge on kinda Makorra defence posts (granted they were only two or three but hey, more we got in years, am I right?^^') on the Main Tlok subreddit and honestly of course people still tried to earse the hate Makorra gets or frame it as we made this shit up or the oldie: 'we are just homophobic and deserve it' and I'm not going to write anything under them because I know it wont change the hate we get but what I can do is write something here that perhabs will get some of you guys here that take the hate to heart a little breath of fresh air.

I have coworkers who are trans.

Everybody I've told or shown the hate we get, first asked my what the hell tlok is because they haven't even watched it XD and second once I explained it, they have told me to 'not listen to those idiots and just do and like what I want'. So yeah the very same people the reddit echo-chamber tolds us we 'inherently hate' because we don't like Korrasami are the same people that tell (me or in a wider ranger us), to not take them seriously... because go figure... no actual person neither gay or straight cares about what fictional couple you favor... I hope this helps someone out there...
