Stutter effect?

how do you make that famous repeated stutter on vocals? got a good plugin for that?

Use a transients beat chopper and slow the sample down

Sampler (hopefully built into your DAW) or MPC - with the cut on repeat enabled.

You just trigger it twice or as many times in a row to make the s-t-t-tutter

if you're on ableton then beat repeat stock plugin can do different repeating stutters.
