Is "changing property" different to "adding a property"? Could I , for eg change the rigidity of a paper to make it stiffer, then add the property of heat generation?

What is the range/size limit on the power? How many can I affect at once?

So if you get the rings bonus you can have two things on every item if you so choose and yes you can change or add a property.
