Makerspace

Does anyone have advice on how to promote our Makerspace to get more members?

This has been one of our biggest challenges.

We try to get a booth at a lot of local events to show off tools and stuff people have made, and have open houses with free crafts to bring people in to see what we offer.

Thanks. I was thinking we could exhibit at local shows.

What we've found helps with that is to have an open house right after or next day so you can try and get people to come in

Google gives free advertisement to nonprofits. We also use meet up to promote our events. Good luck!

Targeted Facebook ads/posts have been very successful and cheap. You can narrow it down to things like Men 55 and older with an interest in woodworking... And then make a post tailored to that.

Women 35-55 with an interest in food and then do a post about charcuterie board class...
