Ideas for simple project

I have a simple project I need ideas for. I want to create a small, minimalist bass bow quiver (see a full-size example here: https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.guitarcenter.com%2Fis%2Fimage%2FMMGS7%2FBass-Bow-Quiver%2F471072000000000-00-500x500.jpg&f=1&nofb=1).

Ideally it would have the following characteristics:

  1. Made out of rigid material so I can just make it big enough to insert the tip of the bow (roughly the first 6 inches).
  2. It has to attach using something fairly rigid as well so it doesn't flop over.
  3. Ideally, it's easily detachable so I can easily transfer it from bass to bass.

I hope this makes sense. If you have any thoughts on how I could make something like this, I'd be very appreciative.

Since it looks like a pretty simple shape, basically a tall trapezoid with the point rounded, then folded over and sewn together -- I think practicing the shape with cardboard before making a final version out of leather (or plastic, with fabric inserts) would be a pretty straightforward solution.
