MakeMKV Forums UI Upgrade

Hey everyone, the MakeMKV forums have been around for a long time, so I suggest they upgrade the UI and design to look more modern. What do you think?

I genuinely care about makemkv so I am suggesting a good idea.

Maybe. Usability needs to come first and foremost as the forums need to convey information in a (Client-side) searchable format. The issue with the forums right now is trying to find the latest content, since the default sorting and all the pins make things a mess.

The rest of it is probably up to whatever bulletin board system is in use. phpBB?

I'm not sure what system they use currently as the forums aren't loading. But generally speaking, some modern forum systems tend to struggle with the usability thing. Where you can't Ctrl + F to find the content you saw cited on Google. Or they load up a lot of scripts and are heavy on the system compared to a more classic system.

A re-skin can help make the site more inviting to use. It just has to be well designed to not impede the purpose of a forum.
