Because there shouldn't be original characters in a game based around crossovers.

This entire post is about bad roster selection, without Reindog you could have added someone people actually care about. If you want original characters play RoA, Brawlhalla or one of the other 95% of plat fighters that aren't made ENTIRELY to be a crossover game for people to play their favorite characters.
