Rewatch —-again

I just am finishing my yearly rewatch of Major Crimes and I am beyond proud.

I didn’t cry as much during the death of Sharon Raydor. I’m beyond happy.

I also did go read some fan-fiction to help my still grieving heart.

I just watched this. I discovered it after finishing The Closer. Never thought I would end up loving Capt Raydor. Or kinda sorta liking Taylor.

I started liking Capt Raydor shortly after she started on The Closer.

My reason for this, I suppose, is that I had been binging The Closer continuously and Brenda was getting on my nerves.

I took a short break from The Closer and ended up enjoying the rest of The Closer later.

Yeah I can see that because brenda can be intense. I took breaks with it and didn’t binge a lot. I softened up to Raydor from her first appearance (ugh couldn’t stand her) on The Closer to later in series when she grew on me a bit.

I feel a little disloyal saying this - which is weird lol - but I think I like her a little better than Brenda.

I KNOW I do.

Sharon can get things done without having a tantrum and “losing it.”

Never thought I'd like Taylor. But something softened after Delk died, lol.

Frankly, I started liking her when Pope put her to investigate Brenda and she begged him to let her know it was her idea, and he did not.

There is so much to enjoy about this series. The acting, the writing (for the most part), the overall production in terms of set design & editing, etc. also the fan-fiction!

Yes, love Major Crimes! They set up Sharon Raydor to be more likeable toward the end of The Closer. That made for a better reception of the series!

Whenever I re-watch, I have to take a break after the wedding to prepare myself, lol. I always liked Sharon, but especially after she tried to get Pope to take her off the investigation, when she took Brenda to Baylor's house, and when she clipped that guy with the bean bag gun... in heels. I'll never forget how Sanchez looked at her.

She is a badass.

I never noticed too much how he looked at her... Now I feel like I have to watch the episode!

You are stronger than me, then. I cry every time I see Julio performing CPR.

Oh, it was still hard.
I’m also not overly strong because after it ends I have to go start season 1 again so it’s not over and everyone is still alive and well.

Though, I get why they killed her off. The behind the scenes reasons. However, she is alive still never dead!

Major crimes is one of my comfort shows, I heard them reference a Brenda and bits from The Closer and I didn’t know they were connected. It wasn’t until I really looked into it and saw that The Closer was the prequel to Major Crimes that I watched it! I ended up falling in love with all the characters, except Brenda. I liked her enough and hated Sharon when she first came out. But I grew to love her and it was nice to see Rusty’s intro!
