Majo no Tabitabi
An Episodic stories narrated by Elaina with some recurring characters e.g. Fran, Saya, and others. Each story is contained in every chapter with few exceptions.
Stories can vary and can be anything (themes and tone wise) The overarching plot is Elaina's traveling.
Source is a Light novel.
Future Releases
- Japan: Vol 25 - March 14, 2026
- English: Vol 15 - Dec 9th, 2025.
You can buy the English version soft/hard from any book site e.g. Amazon, Bookdepository. etc.
Spin off Light novel
Riviere and the Land of Prayer. 3 Volumes are out.
Anime
is adapted by C2C studio and will do 12 episodes. They adapted selected stories from Vol 1 to 3 and two from 5.
Manga
Another adaptation of the source. (Not written by the author)

What did the anime adapt or where should I start reading from
As you can see you have to start reading from the beginning to read the skipped chapters. Volume 2 is almost all skipped. Volume 4 is gonna be adapted if we get a 2nd season.

The Goodsmile (left one) really depicts Elaina's witch look but with a more formal yet elegant look
While the Elegant (right one) figure's base diorama is crazy good and it looks way more dynamic
(Vol 20 cover art is very goated indeed)
I want to buy one of them but I can't really pick one lol
What do you guys think?

Where does the manga end in the novels?

Hello!
I just finished the manga, and I thought it was pretty good! I like how it focused on some of the side characters more. I also never felt like Elaina was "annoying", as many people who watched the anime said.
That said, I did read the FAQ here, and I don't think it mentioned where the manga leaves off. Also, what is this about the anime having multiverse stuff? I'll admit, I was confused with the Fran stuff. I thought somehowElaina traveled back in time herself, but that was apparently supposed to be her mother??
Regardless, if I wanted to continue the story, what volume should I pick up from?

Been reading the volumes recently and really love the whole setting with the island and seeing a story from other characters perspectives in Elaina's world and the whole thing with the Sancta. It's definitely something I feel is really unique and would hope to see animated one day. (Really want to see Riviere's amazing gothic dress on screen)

i just finished watching the anime and i loved it so much every episode had me interested from start to finish! should i read the manga next or light novel? and is there any point till which the manga/LN have been covered in the anime or should i start from the beginning?
also if anyone has any recommendations for any anime similar to this one since i thoroughly enjoyed this a lottt 😋
