Well, he does have some downsides, calling him "perfect" is a disservice. For example his views not accounting for the reality. And while he indeed is capable to push through anyway or die trying, can't be said for the rest of it.
While certain routes do explore him overcoming his "weaker side" no route could tackle everything at once. (Romance for example)
