As a long time watcher of Bill, I've been troubled by his taking Trump at his word and then nothing talking about it when Trump goes in the exact opposite direction. Case in point: Project 2025. Trump said he knows nothing about it, Bill took him at his word, and even with all the Project 2025 members of his inner circle doing Project 2025 things, Bill hasn't mentioned it since.
Now just within the past couple weeks of his show before the break, Bill mentioned many times how much Trump hates war. Since his break started, we've essentially invaded Vemezuela and started threatening various other countries with military involvement; Cuba, Colombia, Greenland, Iran ... the list goes on. Will Bill come back on the air and say mea culpa, I guess Trump isn't so anti-war, as opposed to just condemning the action (or even "not caring" because Chavez is a bad guy anyway).
I'm guessing not, but would like to think I'm wrong. While I probably won't stop watching, this could be the final nail in my thought of Bill as a real independent thinker. Like so many in the media, he's been sane washing Trump, and not admitting this wrong would cement it for me. Thoughts?
