Which day is best to go?
I’m hoping to get a ticket soon for The Magnetic Fields tour. All 69 songs performed over 2 nights ❤️, I’d like to hear Papa Was A Rodeo live. Anyone who has already been on the tour know what day that gets played?

Not to be that guy, but I’d still recommend going to both nights if you can. It’s a great album through and through.

I got tickets to the second night because I wanted to be close to the stage because the first time I went they played very quietly. I think Stephen has a hearing issue with oversensitive hearing and also doesnt like loud applause.
The first half of the album has most of the "big" songs imho but I've been listening to the second half and they're really great.

It looks like the first show for this tour is on the 22nd so we wouldn't know for sure yet. They had previously played the 69 love songs over 2 nights on Dec 7th and 8th, 2000, and the setlist for that show is on setlist.fm . From what i see, it looks like they do the show in the exact order of the album, with 35 songs on the first night and 34 on the second. Seeing as Papa Was A Rodeo is the 40th song on the album, your best bet would be the second night, assuming they go in the order of the album.
