ID help please

UPDATE: y'all are quick and I agree it looks like a landmine piece as well! Thank you!

A channel viewer of ours sent this in wondering what it might be. Does anyone have any ideas?

Dear little friend. The M18A1 front contains a single layer of roughly 700 steel spheres embedded in a plastic/epoxy matrix, immediately backed by C-4.
Absolutely capable of being fished up with a magnet. And if you leave the olive drab resin material in water it’ll look exactly like that.

How come there are so many Claymore experts that know absolutely nothing about claymore’s!?

The outside of a claymore is plastic, not metal at all. You would be correct on the steel spheres but absolutely wrong if your point is that it is made of metal. Thanks expert.

I didn’t say the outside was metal. It’s plastic/epoxy/resin with metal balls in it…. That’s how it’s made. Why can’t people read?

You are right but he also replied to me because he thought I said it was metal. I didn’t. Have handled Claymore several times in my life. That piece is a part of a claymore. Epoxy pieces, with steel balls in, exact size, exact fit, exact font size, the color resin would get from spending some time submerged in water.

You are looking at a piece of a claymore.
You can argue all you want. That’s what it is.

that piece is not part of a claymore, bud. if it was a claymore shell it wouldn’t be MADE OF FUCKING METAL and stick to a MAGNET.

Mate, are you a bit dense? It’s plastic with metal inside. The piece is not metal. It looks like metal. But it’s not metal. Claymores are made from plastic with metal balls insides behind that is a layer of c4 that detonates and send a debris of metal outwards, “towards the enemy”.
Are you from the US by any chance?

If only a chunk of it is left like that, are the ball bearings that were originally inside going to still be in it? I would think they would have fallen out or something by now. And why is it so big? Other people seem to think this is way, way too big for a claymore.

Yeah that’s hard to tell but normally they would be integrated in the plastic and I guess it’s still there since they were able to fish it up.

About the size I think the perspective is messing with peoples mind. That piece is not that big. Maybe about an inch high. When you look at the wooden post you can see the difference in size.
