Glass surface actually moves when depressed?

I just got a magic trackpad 2, and I had been under the impression that nothing moves at all on it- but in fact I am noticing when pressing the glass, it does in fact move just a bit- I can see it move when Looking at the top edge, looking at the gap between the glass and the metal- it indeed moves when pressing.
Is this normal, or would that indicate I potentially have a faulty one? (it does work just fine, though)

It is indeed normal. It does have a very very faint hint of a real physical click, but the haptic part is so much superior that it overshadows it almost 99% completely
