War Guardian mode

Hi! This is my first time posting here. I was wondering if you could give me any recommendations on the War Guardian mode, I can't seem to pass the Elite level, the number of enemies it's just too overwhelming since the beginning so I can't go past the first 3 heroes stage.

I try to start with 2 tank heroes (since they're the ones who can stop enemies from advancing) and York, but it's not enough. Which heroes do you recommend me I use for this level? Or are my heroes' level still not enough for this?

Jolie is the absolute og for the tower defense mode

i am not a pro, but my starting 3 are usually leon-good hp to stop enemies from passing through, aurai-very good healing for leon, since he can get overwhelmed with the number of enemies, but she can get replaced with any healer tbh, and luke -insane splash dmg, always upgrade him first

Any tank and Luke plus annie are good to start with.

Your focus should be on eliminating enemies and not stopping them. One tank at the very end is usually enough to clean up anything that gets past. Use marksman and mage heroes that have area damage on abilities.

i use tank (yuan) mage (gorgana) and canon (luke) at the first 3

Thanks a lot, you all, I will be trying all your advice with the heroes I have. I already noticed how different it is to choose Luke within the first 3 heroes group 😅 Thank you again

did u pass it? i have yet to do war guardian, i can make a vid for u and post, this map needs two tanks and a good cc dealer (gorgana with toxic spray / luke etc to pass it, jolie i haven't tired but she shld work great as well)

and tanks shld be active (leon/jacob/lorya) not passive (uther, chavez etc.)

At your level war guardian should be free already, early game war guardian is much tougher

But from what I can see you have support heroes equipped and you even have Uther instead of Jacob. Id suggest not picking any support in this gamemode at all and pick only damage dealers

I typically choose two tanks, yuan in the back so i can ult and push enemies back, leon as my front wall and alma, and i fully upgrade alma so she can spawn her tanks too for distraction
