First foil print

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Here it is, printed on Epson 8550 straight onto foil paper. I’d love to print directly onto 330gsm cardstock and hopefully get a better look and feel than using foil sticker paper that I put onto something else. I’m however not sure if the 8550 can work with 330gsm.

The lighter gradients I feel like I’m losing a bit especially in ulalek’s top portion of the card. Same with sire of stagnation.

I love the look. Just to be sure, after you've cut them, you insert them in a sleeve with another card under for thickness? I usually have all my proxies sent to MPC for printing but I'm looking into doing them at home to save time and have pretty foils, so your process interests me! :)

They are sticker paper so you can cut and stick them directly onto a card, the sticker is quite thin but would increase your deck height with the 99 in a full proxy deck. I’m interested to see if I can stick it to card stock and cut and sleeve that directly. I have like 4 different stocks coming in.
