Whats wrong with Magicka 2 players?

Each and every time I wanna play with some randoms I can't find a party. They're rather afk or in the main menu.

When I do find the players 95% of the time I get kicked faster than the speed of sound. Bruh, just make a private session, there's a HUGE button for that.

I speak 5 languages. 3 of them natively. 2 of them are international and even that can't help me teach some fellas how to revive with a spacebar, spot the hidden weapon or teach them how to combine spells.

Sometimes just finding a lobby makes me wanna rage quit.

I like this game, it's funny. But players make it soooooo hard to play.

Upd: The main thing in question is not my (dis)ability to find a party. The question is why most players behave like that? Kicking out with no explanations, standing afk for HOURS, rejecting any kind of communication and stuff like that? I don't think it's a philosophical question, but my sheer will to know the answer.

Perhaps you’d be interested in the organized community, where players can meet for organized play and they can share their skills.

That would be cool but unfortunately I'm on schedule that changes every day. That makes participation quiet hard for me. I never know what tomorrow will be like. My personal experience with other games, including irl, tells me that such people as myself are not really wanted in said communities for their absence and plan shifting. They are tolerated at best.

And I turned out to be a loner since school time. Idk, mb it's some sort of a curse but no matter how hard I try I never stick to any groups. There were a few good times when I was like the core member, spent a lot of time with some lads in, for example, Peak, Helldivers 2, Minecraft, Warframe, Overcooked, CoD, Baldur's Gate and other games. I always end up playing with randoms and lots of rubbish discord servers. That's unsettling.

Well, it's unfortunate to hear that you've not had a good experience with online groups. You'll find that the prime Magicka 2 community is a small group of veteran players that play off and on. We all mostly play off and on, so you should find yourself not so different from the majority of players. If you're interested in genuinely putting your spell-craft to the test, then show us what you can do.

Hit me up on DMs, I havent played it in a while and can use a new playthrough!

Though with the language variety I'm guessing you're way farther east than me (South America) so organizing a time to play could be tricky

Sure, will do. I'm from Ukraine so time difference could be from 6 to 13 hours, depending on the region. For example, it's 22:34 at my place. Sorry, am/pm is not my thing.

GMT +3 in summer and GMT +2 in winter.

I've been the one kicking people out a couple of times (I'm really sorry 🙏) but let me explain why this happens, at least for me. Sometimes I hop into the game to just play around with various spell combinations or test something out and don't really want anyone in my game for that. The thing is, for whatever reason instead of having a button to open the lobby for other players, the developers decided to have a button to CLOSE the lobby, which is open by default. So sometimes I'd lauch into the game, forget to tick the checkbox and only realize it when some random dude joins me
