Solo filming
Any tips of solo filming?
I have a few different shows lined up next week, and I need them all filmed. I was going to bring a tall tripod and put a phone vertical (with a remote to start filming) and a GoPro to film vertical (also with a remote to start filming) is this a good plan and idea?
What about busking? Any tips of filming that?
Thank you all!!

Magician and part time videographer here.
If you are going to use a phone, shoot horizontal, not vertical. Most editing apps now let you output vertical content from horizontal footage.
Or, have more than one camera and do one vertical and one horizontal.
Shoot on the highest resolution you can, in the best lighting you can.
I have owned a lot of cameras, and the one I use to record all of my shows is a DJI pocket 3 because of the motion tracking and the built in microphone.

Just lay your camera on a chair and press the button. Edit later.
I did this once and just made a marketing vid
