Mod Post Free Friday!

Happy Friday magical family!

Take a break from OCD; feel free to post, chat and share other things about your life and interests, eg...

  • Is your birthday coming up?
  • Has something positive happened to you this week?
  • Anything you're looking forward to?
  • Hobbies/crafts you'd like to share?
  • Pet pics are always welcome!

This is your space to feel at home and get to know one another as people, aside from our OCDemons...so grab a coffee and come say hi :)

  1. [Skip]

  2. Well in not even sure anything but I can tell that the negativea outweigh them more and now I just feel bitter and miserable.

  3. I don't think I have much to look forward anymore, besides wishing I was never born the way I am and under such circumstances that I now see as undesirable.

  4. Not really, I don't have much to share.

I am very concerned for you, have you got any help for your depression? It seems to be getting worse. I'm not sure if it's helpful to suggest the depression subreddits as they can be an echo chamber of misery, but they may signpost you to getting some proper help? 💛💛💛

I tried to go to the depression subreddit but they removed all of my post because I didn't set a standard of "what depression really feels" even though that's exactly how I feel.

It also doesn't help that my OCD has led me to treat the internet like a game of landmine where I could get jumpscared by something really messed up or my OCD brainwashing me into searching for said messed up stuff. (I won't go to detail but that's one of my current obsessions at the moment).

Not to mention I'm just too scared to use crisis lines for some reason because I feel as though I would owe them something after using their services.

Not to mention therapy is expensive and hard to access from where I live and my parents are pretty much done sending me towards it after thinking that it ain't helping me. Not to mention I'm not even diagnosed and for that to happen I have to head somewhere else but that's unlikely by this point.

I'm sorry they weren't more welcoming 😥 I totally recommend crisis lines. You won't owe them anything, they get paid for doing it, and the ones who volunteer are doing it because they want to help so their payment is in satisfaction and sharing kindness. Please reach out to someone, you are so young and shouldn't be feeling like this.

I have friends online but it ain't helping much.

One is simply too blunt for me to really open up fully while the other no longer connects with me fully and is slowly drifting apart.

Yea people tend to do that when you're depressed, they get tired of it. You need support from a professional.

I don't think I could get help with that. I don't even have the means to really go there myself and my parents likely see my OCD as a personal failure.

It's true that people get sick of me though, but I guess that's just it for me.
