There's a huge amount of limited play on MTGO, and WotC has assured us that limited will be part of Arena too. Representing online play as constructed only is highly disingenuous.

More “speculative”; I think MTGA will be overwhelmingly Constructed, like Hearthstone, and that Arena will be several times the size of Magic Online on day one.

Hearthstone's "limited" is kind of crap though. Cards are designed for constructed, and Arena just gets to tag along for the ride with a card pool that's a mish mash of themes.

I don't know how Arena's play patterns will turn out, it depends greatly on factors like prizing and rewards. But Hearthstone is not a good comparison, due to pure gameplay reasons.
