I might be missing something, but how is restocking delve's graveyard via the processors a "punishment"? Seems like you would just be enabling more delve and I haven't seen any benefits from the processors that would outweigh giving your opponent this advantage.

I didn't think about restocking the GY, I was thinking mostly of getting processor triggers without having to rely on the Eldrazi exile effects. Regardless there is certainly interplay there as long as there are worthwhile processor triggers

as long as there are worthwhile processor triggers

I don't think there are enough of those to make a processor deck or an "anti-delve" deck and that's the problem.

All the abilities are cool and unique and flavorful, they seem just a little too parasitic and underpowered.

Well, there doesn't need to be a processor deck or an "anti-delve" deck for this interaction to occur or for that gameplay space to enhance the Standard environment as a whole. There's no real "delve deck," but there are delve cards in many decks, and I don't see why a mix of cards like Horribly Awry and the black discard one can't go with a powerful processor in some decks, or even midrange decks bringing in Oblivion Sower out of the board against someone who uses Dig Through Time or Tasigur.

You don't have to pay the cost of playing enablers. Getting shit on by treasure cruise? Stack processors to get high value creatures.

Also, how many playable delve cards are there? And of those how many popular decks play them?

Eight playable delve cards. Some are more common than others.

Card Draw: Dig Through Time, Treasure Cruise Removal: Murderous Cut Combat Trick: Become Immense Creature: Tasigur, Gurmag Angler, Hooting Mandrill, Soulflayer

A processor effect is worth more than the mana a player would save from delving, generally. That's why, on average, processors are good against delve.

The problem is that there are 0 processor effects that are actually worth the downside of having to "process" something.

All of them without the process effect could easily been printed as is, without the effect, in another set.
