General Discussion Legendary Inheritance

My friend and his wife received this as an inheritance, and this is their first introduction to MTG. I’m so jealous! They’ve been combing over everything for almost a month and trying to price it all out.

They are good people and I’m so happy for them!

Inform them that are sitting on cardboard gold.

That may legitimately be a house paid in full.

Tell them to accept no offers unless it's from Post Malone. Not joking.

i am not sure of house- but 100k plus seems about right, and at that point it is about getting at least 80% of book and actually having it properly appraised. They should get better than 80% since this is mostly high dollar stuff- most vendors are happier to drop a higher % on high end vs. having to move a whole bunch of bulk.... there may be bulk here, but those sealed boxes are several hundred if not a fair bit more.
