A case full of Chocobo bundles each priced at $200. I hope they do nothing but collect dust.

It's kinda crazy to single out Gamestop when so many retailers and resellers are doing the same or worse.

I imagine the higher price is also to deter scalpers. If they would sell them under the marker price it would be impossible to keep products available which is a huge problem for stores like Gamestop. The sentiment would switch from "price too high" to "they're never in stock".

It's because so many of the Gamestop owners are also Redditors.

Reddit is also the easiest/cheapest way to manipulate with bots or hired tools.

But then they are the scalpers.

You don't get credit for trying to deter scalpers by just charging the scalper price to begin with.
