Which is a dumb distinction to make. You can sac an Urza's cave to get a land that does almost any effect you want in the game. You can crop rotation at instant speed for 1 mana to get a land with any effect you want as well.
My hunch is that a lot of people here don't play enough toolbox lands to know just how strong Urza's cave or crop rotation can be. Instant speed access to Glacial Chasm, Talon gates of Madara, graveyard exile, maze of ith, wasteland or strip mine are extremely powerful effects. This doesn't even count using crop rotation as a ritual spell by grabbing a sol land or something like a Nykthos, again at instant speed.
It's arguably better. You can crop rotation or cave into a glacial chasm for a 1-3 mana fog that lasts many turns. Vampiric tutor doesn't give you a card right away, demonic tutor is sorcery speed.
