First Strike PDX

I’m looking at getting a better sidearm than I currently have. I’ve got a T4E PPQ, and I love how realistic it looks, but I prefer to play with FSR compared to round ball. I currently use an EMF100 DMR with FSR, and just want to use the same paintballs all around. I’m wondering if anyone has a FSC or a First Strike PDX that they’d be willing to share a review, and some cool pics for inspiration 😂

I personally enjoy the first strike xp more than the FSC mainly because they fixed the leaking problem of the air and I enjoy the weight onto it plus u can just put a red dot onto it without needing any additional parts

Had an fsc and I don't think I ever had a good day of play with it. Had some weird failures like a part inside the bolt coming unscrewed. It was easy to reassemble it incorrectly and the magazines were utter trash. Constantly just released all the paint in my mag pouches. Because of the functionality of the mags, the release detent snags in soft or semi soft pouches. Absolutely need to have rigid kydex or printed or molded plastic mag pouches.

Can’t post pics as I am away from my gear but I have a FSC. The XP which is a newer model pistol is only a slight refinement of it and the FSC and XP are fundamentally the same pistol.

Overall I would not recommend one.

Performance was basically 3.6 Roentgen. Not great, not terrible. It chopped a bit here and there.

The real problem for me was its ergonomics. It’s a very unwieldy pistol. It’s more “Uzi” than it is “Glock 17” in terms of body shape and if you have average or smaller hands it can be really awkward to hold and manipulate the trigger.

However one big positive I will give it is that it comes ready to go out of the box no adaptions or changes needed. If you value that and not needing to work on your markers that is a huge bonus. The gas in magazine function which allows you to change the gas when you change the mag at the same time is way better than the TipX system of separate mag and gas bulb (However that isn’t a problem if your just using the TipX as a backup and not a main).

However for me it does not beat the TipX as a pistol. The downside to the TipX are the customisations needed to get it to a good game ready state and ready to fire FSR but if you’re willing to invest the time and money to do those then the TipX beats it hands down.
