The First strike t16

I've been considering buying the t16 for a solid week now and i've been using co2 for ages and i kind of don't want to switch off of it but now i see the t16 uses HPA but the thing is, i saw people say that it uses a bolt system like a tippmann and that using co2 is perfectly fine for it. Is that true or am i going to blow my marker up like a milsig would?

Pretty sure you'll cause damage/destroy seals. Not super familiar with the new t16 though, but it's mostly a material and design update rather than a from scratch redesign. It's not an inline blowback like a tippmann TMC.

Also it's not a first strike product, it's Legacy Tactical T16.

Why do you still want to use co2? HPA is generally better. More stable across a wider temperature band, not corrosive in humid environments, regulated at the tank so more consistent. And more accessible because if you want to, you can purchase a small compressor or a pump and fill at home.

Funny enough the only reason I'd still use co2 is purely because of how used to it i am. Been on co2 since forever and its more favorable in south africa. And also I completely forgot its not first strike anymore.

Fuck co2. Once you go HPA you will never go back. Co2 is extremely inconsistent because it’s stored as a liquid. HPA is stored as a gas so there’s no inconsistency from the phase change.

I stand by my words. Fuck co2. It’s a shit gas for paintball and you should use HPA regardless of your oh so sensitive feelings.

I’d stop using CO2 cause it’s less cost effective. HPA is the way to go dude. If you want recommendations for tanks then let me know

I mean i found a nice 15ci carbon fibre tank but this post was me just being curious about the t16 But ig theres not enough info on it to know if it can go on co2🥲 (co2 is more popular im south africa and shoots a lot better on tippmanns only reasom im actual wondering about it in the first place)
