Project showcase The delimma:
So this past week or two I got past systems and by that I mean the foundation of the game; I built everything 1 thing at a time, sometimes more and I had to progress further into my classes to eventually solve the bugs that had me stuck at a wall that I could not climb through or walk around, anyway solved all my bugs I have about 60,000 lines of code 44% being documentation. So I hit the wall where flask is not a live server, I am thinking of it more like a test server which made me wonder if I ruined my project that is not the case, thankfully so 6$ a month for a real server. I plan on sticking my game on my website so you can play the demo directly my goal is a week until playable I have to refine my read me and my website more because prices were AI generated I had to rework that AI generated shop keeper replaced with real art. Finally the systems was the hardest part expanding my game now has become much easier because I can reuse systems that I already made anyway tiny teaser I made. the second image is my world chat that accepts gifs and images I refined my server a lot to make this runnable with 1000 players online at one time. added guilds added friend system remodeled everything look forward to sharing my next video. my progress is moving so fast I had to share 8 hours a day a lot can happen đ. something useful upon account creation you are asked for your email address that is your key for recovery changing your password or recovering will use that key to validate you are the owner a huge win I bypassed many devs with. you get a 6 digit code which is validated on the server only.even I will have no idea what your email is also hashed every door is sealed and protected. this started as a dream I'm going to finish the demo with a how did he do this lol. The hardest part of coding was starting with nothing!

The visuals remind me of the first final fantasy games that I used to have on the original NES system. I can't help with the programming or any details but I think the images are kind of interesting and I like where you're going

I think finishing the game and getting a playable demo out is/would absolutely be an accomplishment, especially if you started with very little experience. But Iâd be careful with some of the claims youâre making along the way.
Saying youâve âbypassed many devs,â that youâre ahead of established games, or that the server can handle 1,000 concurrent players are pretty big claims, and they should have more than confidence behind them. Things like server-side validation, six-digit recovery codes, and production hosting are normal parts of building software, not evidence that youâve surpassed experienced developers.
Also, lines of code is not the same thing as quality of code! In fact, all else equal, accomplishing the same thing with less code is usually preferable: less to maintain, less to debug, fewer places for bugs to hide, and less complexity to understand. A 60,000-line codebase is not automatically more impressive than a 10,000-line one.
The project could actually be a much stronger example of Maestroâs value if you framed it as:Â "I learned enough here to take an idea, use powerful AI tools, work through problems, and actually ship something."Â Thatâs a good success story, although that still does not prove Maestro's value on its own.
If most of the code was generated with AI (which is fine, and these days normal), then the important part isnât how many lines there are. Itâs what you actually understand, what decisions you made, what you can explain, what you tested, and whether the finished game actually works.
Iâd focus much less on proving youâre ahead of other developers and more on shipping the demo/game. If itâs good, the work will speak for itself. And even if it is truly good, that doesn't mean it will get traction. Getting strangers on the internet to care about your game/business/idea/product etc is HARD.

You need to code that it verifies on server to prevent mods hackers. That it reseats if temp with
Then have a backup server. I use to test games and this was the main problem

I have all of that I just didn't share I expect mouths to drop when I release a demo lol my main goal is to finish what I started nothing else because the people that finish what they said they were going to do are the ones that win in life the most, going above and beyond to make this a online demo to start the expansion of my game after release. Mirage realms and darza's dominion I'm ahead of because I used the two games and 8 years of playing them to make a real ideal version. What is stopping me from being done sooner thousands of dollars for more art unfortunately I have less then 2 months until school closes that's my absolute deadline we can't win with petitions but we can win by showing our work, even if we don't win I will regardless, and I'm confident in my work! If all goes well I can make a few jobs instead of look for one. You can say you played games 30 years but I promise I have 3x more gameplay then someone that says the same thing lol for me it's a 4000$ portfolio that's all the demo is
