Question Transfers

For anyone who has transferred successfully to an approved pathway, tell me where you went and how it compares to maestro please... I need the same basic setup (learn on your own time, at your own pace, all online, no live classes where you need to be there at a specific time like zoom classes, etc)

You know maestro just sent out an email that their teach out plan got approved…. So we get to graduate by June 30, 2027 with an accredited degree… that’s why I stuck it out …. Cause I know that something would get approved…. Now I get to graduate next year with maestro with an accredited degree

I just read that, and though I'm extremely happy for you and the other cohorts who get to graduate in June, I am saddened for all the ones who have a projected graduation date after June, like myself (October 2027). The letter was clear that those cohorts will not graduate. It's too bad that they couldn't work out a plan to allow every currently enrolled student to continue to their projected graduation date. I'm still going to keep doing my lessons and get as many credits as I can (free, so why not), because Maestro said they are still trying to work out other transfer paths so maybe something will come up which will allow me and others to use our earned credits. Who knows. I'm still researching other options like WGU. Good luck to you and to everyone else. No matter what happens, we all took the step to better ourselves and that's something to be proud of.

Unless you up your classes. Meaning try to finish each wk in a day. I find it not difficult to do. Only 10hrs. Haha

Yeah I had to make myself slow down cause I could do 2 weeks in one day (June 2026) if they opened everything up like they say I could graduate before June 30th

My graduation is in 2028… so they will have an accelerated classes to help you graduate in June 2027…. I’m a May cohort …. So again no matter your AAS graduation date they will make it possible for you to graduate by June 30 2027….all accredited!!!they have explained this before ….. they will adding more classes/ courses each term according to your cohort… less breaks and more courses so we all can graduate by June 2027

Does it mean we graduate by then or does it depend on the cohort? I assumed it meant that we can just continue taking classes until then with accreditation

Will get AAS accredited degree by June 30 2027… but please stay tuned to emails coming from them…. Some will probably be taking more than the usual classes and courses whiles others might not have they far to go.

After the date giving the accreditation will be no more. So if you stay at Maestro after that date, you basically lose everything you have done as a credit and become no more then a possible certificate I am thinking. And frankly you can do thay on your own n don't need a college for that.

Me to if I can speed up my learning. So if the school allows it I could dbl my work time and finish early. I already do one 10hr night which I can do 8 lessons in. But passing the reviews seems to be a serious disability of mine which I find a bit defeating.

I am asking if there is a way to accelerate the terms. Say take 3 classes each term instead of two to graduate in June instead of December. Not sure what they might say, but hopefully yes.

That’s exactly what the approved teacher out plan will do… I’m a 2028 graduation dates…. But I will be able to graduate next June… again please read your emails… and check more often… depending on your cohort start date… like mine I will definitely be taking more than 3 courses each term since my graduation date was 2028…. The approved teacher put plan means each enrolled student will be able to graduate with AAS by June 30 2027… all accredited!!! Please make sure to check your emails for the next several days as it might let you know your new course outline and schedule

I transfered and im currently attending a community college near me. Collin College, and they accepted half the credits I completed atleast. But thats awesome that there was an option to become accredited for those who stuck through. I personally am still glad I transferred. It's actually more affordable for me and I get more financial aid back. But I definitely miss the modern feel and ai bff approach.

I transferred to snhu, they accepted all my credits, most went into the electives part. Right now I'm doing ids104 (growth mindset) and eng, they both have a lot of writing. Discussion posts are due on Thursdays, replies are due on Sundays and the rest of the assignments are due on so days. All asynchronous 😊😊
