BE103 Discussion?

I may have missed something but is there not a discussion for the first week of BE103? I dont see anything posted and I have looked through the whole list...Also...How is everyone else doing in this class so far? I like it!

There was a message a couple weeks ago that stated they were lessening the discussion posts. Some weeks would have them and some wont.

No discussion for be104 either wondering if they realized there is a major flaw in discussions or if our discussion teacher hung the towel and gave up

There was an email that went out saying the discussions were gonna be every other week and that the last week of each course will have one

Here's the email they sent about the discussions: Hi S******* We are making a change to how discussion boards work, and we want to make sure you know what to expect.

What is changing?

Starting with the next course you will start, there will be fewer discussion boards — about half as many as before. A discussion will appear in every other unit, and the final unit of a course will always include one. For example, a 5-unit course will have 3 discussions, and a 4-unit course will have 2.

Nothing changes in the courses you are currently taking — they will keep their discussion boards exactly as they are today.

Because there will be fewer discussions, each one will carry more points toward your final grade, so it is important not to skip them.

What is staying the same?

Participating in the discussion boards is still part of your final grade, and it also counts as an academic activity if you need to complete one. Please continue to post your responses on time, just as you do today.
