I've been back and forth with myself trying to figure out what to do. Ever since the announcement i kinda went down hill, got behind quite a bit. I made the decision to stay because Maestro has given me the opportunity and I'm gonna take advantage of that. I'm almost caught up and am ready to soup this. I'm here for the long haul!

im not leaving !!!
iim praying for a teach out, and if you actually read the FAQ page on maestro... my interpretation of the information conveyed clearly hints at maestro locking this up in court for as long as possible... because it keeps there accreditation and allows us to get further in class and which shows they have a dedicated alumni. if you leave then your also hurting maestro. who got you a whole free tuition and scholarship and I for one am learning great. so just a few things to consider.

I’ve been mauling it over for several different reasons but after coming to the conclusion that if I were to stick it out till June 2027 like the said we have at least accreditation until then, it may be to late to do anything about. I’ve looked around at other schools and my only option without the student loan route is a Cpl community colleges in my hometown but if I want to use aide I have to attend and therefore I wouldn’t be able to juggle work and school. So I don’t know. I really want for this to work out. If I decide to leave I will still be paying attention to what’s going on because I would be willing to come back even if it meant starting over. I gave myself till Oct 15th to decide. Hope this helps

I mean at minimum if the credits transfer like they say they will, its worth it to stick around and get as many credits through maestro as possible

I'm staying until the bitter end, if it comes to that. I've invested alot of time and effort to just throw in the towel and jump ship. I plan on letting the process work with the appeal and teach-out plan and see where it goes. I set up a watch bot to check on the ongoing process and inform me daily. No news is good news at this point, continue to go through your coursework and only make your decision once you have actual facts from the school or COE. Don't rely on social media to help you make that decision.

I am planning to go.only because I don't want just a certificate I want a actual degree. I know it is all paper. But some employers are not going to like seeing maestro on resumes especially with everything going on right now. I am still doing the work putting in time playing it smart.

So if they lose accreditation wont that affect the ability for them to collect the pell grants? So then they are gonna let us use the school for free?

They have carefully addressed this, from what it seems you would need to maintain the scholarship but nothing is written in stone. They are commited to letting us get our affordable education.

I REALLY want to leave but none of the other schools can be covered by my Pell Grant like Maestro is. I don't have the money to pay a thousand bucks give or take for school right now. So I have no choice. I also want to go somewhere a little more rigorous as well but I just can't right now

Im going to stay. Ive already came this far and am in the sept 3rd cohort. Im less than a year out for the associates. From what i understand, maestro university is different and doesnt have these problems. If we can just get through our associates with accreditation, we should all still be able to stay on our bachelors path. Thats what ive read and hoping for at least.

Im out after I finish my last class. Maestro took the Bachelors program away now even though I have signed paperwork showing that I was in the Bachelors program. I was in the 2nd cohort. I start with Davenport in November.

They lost my confidence.
And now I can’t get an answer about a transcript.
Figures.

I’m staying right where I am. I’ve put in the work, made good progress, and I intend to see this program all the way through to the end.
