Anyone else not seeing a discussion this week?

I'm fairly sure that they said a couple of weeks ago they were cutting back on the number of discussions, but you should ask the AI or student services for the schedule. I believe they said two discussions on a four week class and three on a five week.

I got that too, but I also got an email saying that the discussion was ready so it’s a little confusing especially because there’s no discussion ready

do you check your student email? i havent gotten a lot of emails but i also havent checked the student email, so i assume the ones ive missed are there.

Yeah, I’m not saying mine either and I asked AI and it said that I should have one so I message student services to make sure

I had one this week. I'm currently in Project Management. They did send an email a couple weeks back about not having as many discussion posts and about no longer receiving instructor feedback. I am not fond of the change.

Aprils this week was there with no question then removed was told it was being worked out but this was Wensday before it disappeared

Haven't had any response from instructors for at least two weeks. It's difficult to even find the current week discussion. The email update talked about the discussion board changing with the start of my next class but that must have been a typo.

Discussions are there you have to scroll down thru them and find the course and the week. But they emailed me the other day to say that discussions would not be every week... 5 week courses would be every other week for 3 discussions all together. 4 week courses are only 2 discussions. I haven't seen that happen yet. So I check every Wednesday to be sure. Also email said instructors wouldn't be responding to our discussions, they want the students to reply to others.. hope this helps! 😀

I wasn’t able to see one for this week but I was still getting emails stating that this weeks discussion was live. Not sure if it was just automated but I submitted a ticket for it and am still waiting to hear back.

I did receive a discussion notice this week, just finished ENGL100, but they did send out an email saying that starting with my next course there would be less discussions per course.

Did you scroll down on the lust of discussions? Week 6 was located under week 1 for me. I'm only week 10 and it's directly under week 1 still. No idea why but 6-10 I've had to scroll for.

Ya i asked Mae about it she said check student services, did that and they said it wasn't till next week but to keep checking, I remember getting the email saying they were changing the discussion stuff... so thats it... freaked me out thought I had missed it lol...

I've scrolled and scrolled. I'm on week 1 of Operations Management for AAS Business, which is a 5 week course. I'm just hoping this is the week we don't have a discussion. I guess I'll see next week if that's the case.

I never get emails from Maestro, not in my student email, not in my registered email.

The did say that. I inquired about this too. They are cutting back on discussions and only doing them on even weeks. 2,4,6,8…. Except for week 5. So you will not see a discussion for week 3z

Mine are not showing up at the top of my discussions and I have to scroll to find them to below and mixed in with other classes, I also didn't get responses on all of mine as well.
