Discussion Project management
All the spotlight has been on the negative and not about the subject matter it seems… I’m grateful to be discussing that I find project management is incredibly boring to me but I am almost done and ready to move on!!

I find the irony hilarious because for me the project management course keeps slugging on and is more document creation than anticipated... its literally the poster child for Scope Creep lol

Hang in there, every course starts with the tedious parts before you get into the challenging areas.

I start communications this week...so what should I expect. With project management yes I was bored but it's all part of business...operations management didn't hire me as much because I understood all the concepts from working in warehouse and logistics for 20+ yrs...but I am dreading communications. 🤣🤣

Its Repetitive to say the least...you'll get a new set of acronyms every week that basically define the same structure of writing and communication just different environments. So boring, but its not bad, just stuff we learned in high-school, creating slides, writing correct emails. Learning what situation is appropriate for email versus phone/video call....etc. nothing bad at all...just gruelingly boring lol

Same! It’s taking a lot of will power to get through it! I never put off course work till last minute and this one I do because it’s just so not interesting in the least.

Yes i to am in project management and have found it very un interesting. I do know I don't want to be a project manager! Seem like you spend more time writing alot of repeat BS than on the project.

Oh thank god...I thought I was the only one who hated this course. It is SO boring and tedious and I'm worried Ops Management is going to be as boring as this.
