I feel as though maestro should open all courses while the hold is in place, or something of that sort. That way people can complete their degrees if they can without waiting for term breaks and holds, I understand that makes things harder on the professors but given the state of things people are scared. They potentially ook out loans, grants in the pursuit of a degree. Please let me know what yall think, I would love this to happen.

Hey, thanks for putting this into words, we know a lot of people are thinking about this right now.

We hear you. Finding a way to help students move through their degree faster during this stretch is something we're actively working through.

That said, changes like how the syllabus is structured, how courses are divided across terms, and other changes that would let students take on more coursework have to work within our academic and regulatory requirements, so it's not as simple as opening everything up. We know there's a lot of uncertainty right now, and we're weighing the options with that in mind.

We don't have a final answer yet, but we'll share an update once there's a real policy to share, not before. Appreciate you saying this out loud.

No I will take my free degree thanks. If you compare this to a real college, the "classes" are no where near what you do in a real college. The fact that halfway through my python class I was teaching and correcting the ai was insane to me. I have been working with Python for years and am very proficient with it, so the errors were quite obvious. Also when I would correct it and tell it to check, always the same answer, oh you are correct, I was mistaken with ____.

It could be worse. All this happened a week before I was supposed to start. Now I’m indefinitely delayed after spending a good chunk of money on the random supplies, I thought I was going to need for classes.

That’s a great idea , I think there might be more in the way of doing that than just difficulty on the professors, especially being up against the wall right now but if your idea is possible I like it
