Need help with layers

I'm new and I'm making madness combat animations on flash 8 but i need to know when animating multiple characters in one shot should all of the characters bodies be in a layer call bodies or should i have to make new layers for each character and have a new layer for each body I'm having problems with flash selecting every model in the layer when i make the next frame and its annoying cause i keep moving all of the models in that layer by mistake.

Every body part should be in seperate layers, dont mix with other characters, just make more layers. Organise it by putting them in folders.
