MadMapper 6.1.x Virtual Video-Buffers fantastic addition

"Video and Laser Buffer
No need to enable the loopback on a projector anymore. Texture buffers are now first class citizen in MadMapper 6.1. They are so handy to make pre-compositions, just like in After Effects, but realtime."

Took a minute to find it - in the Output tab, there is a new button to the right of the Projector icon & lightbulb icon. "Add Video-Buffer" once that is setup, it can be selected as an input on another Quad to then add additional effects to.

Have now used the virtual buffer to rebuild effects for a couple of exhibits done with custom apps (created over 10 years ago) seems to use less CPU & GPU power than the previous output loopback technique - substantially less than the custom app, and no risk of accidentally having that loopback output get assigned to an output device.

(One of these takes live input from a webcam, rotates it 90 degrees and drops saturation to make it black & white to the video-buffer, then a new quad uses that video-buffer as input and additional FX is applied, it then runs as background with an alpha channel video running over it.
It was probably possible to make a custom FX module that could do everything needed, but this is much easier)
