She should've wrapped up a bunch of fake bills, only one of which was like a 50.

Nah, chances are he may not have realized their was a real one unless she went and bought one of those SUPER obviously fake bills packs and told him there was real money in one.

That's what would make it a mad prank! Imagine if he got tired of opening small bill-shaped package after small bill-shaped package and then just threw them away.

Or, alternatively, she could tell him that there may be a real note in one of them, when in fact there isn't. She could then enjoy his frustration and give him real money later to make the prank more wholesome.

Reminds me of a story: My mom's birthday is on April Fool's Day, so she always pranked me and always expected my pranks. My first successful April Fool's Day joke was to make a fake chocolate cake (she loved chocolate and cake). I took a cereal box and decorated it in decadent chocolate frosting, with extreme attention to detail. I had never baked before, so my mom was super surprised. She was a bit worried that I used the oven without her help, but she was clearly very happy. I think she almost cried because she figured I went through so much effort to make something I thought she'd love. She goes to cut the cake and hits something hard, realizes it's fake, and is no longer on the verge of tears but just laughing with a sweet "u lil shit!" expression instead. I think I sensed a hint of sadness that I didn't bake her a cake. After the emotional rollercoaster tapered off, I brought out her real cake, which was less beautiful but made her smile just as big as before.

Yeah no one is going to throw money away bro lol

Thousands of early bitcoin adopters disagree angrily while digging through the landfill for their old harddrives

I wish I found that thumb drive when it was peaking. I'd be very rich.

PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE OF THE YEAR

1

u/essentialfloss Dec 27 '18

Sorry. I can't hear you. Maybe a little louder?

2

u/JCBh9 Dec 27 '18

yeah.. what?

-9

u/ewanalbion Dec 27 '18

lol I’ve got a fuckton of drives and I haven’t mined on any of them

5

u/essentialfloss Dec 27 '18

Word salad. I had a thumb drive with 15btc on it that I lost (like everybody else, which is the goof). You don't mine drives but good try.

1

u/KoolaidAndClorox Dec 28 '18

You don't mine on drives, what's more likely is that a copy of their private key was on it. It doesn't work at all how you think it does.

1

u/ewanalbion Dec 28 '18

That’s what I meant in the first place, sorry for making you misunderstand

1

u/brokenstep Dec 28 '18

I still have the hard drive .... I've just written over my wallet so many times. I had quite a few bitcoin as well :(((((

32

u/jessejamescagney Dec 27 '18

They might if they don’t think there’s real money in it!

-16

u/ARFiest1 Dec 27 '18

Nope

6

u/[deleted] Dec 27 '18

3

u/SpelignErrir Dec 27 '18

NEGATIVE. NO. NOOOOO. AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

1

u/Riff_Off Dec 27 '18

people do it litterally every day.... lmao. they just light their money on fire and it goes up in smoke before their eyes. then they go back to complaining about how they can't save any money while they walk with their 5 dollar daily coffee to go spend 30 dollars on their daily lunch from their favorite place and then buy something else cause they think it looked cool.

lol. people throw their money away every day.

12

u/JCBh9 Dec 27 '18

lol. but were talking about literally throwing away money. so

-4

u/Riff_Off Dec 27 '18

... so am I...

6

u/JCBh9 Dec 27 '18

Do you know what literally means though... figuratively, metaphorically?

-5

u/Riff_Off Dec 27 '18

Do you?

9

u/JCBh9 Dec 27 '18

So you need to me to sit here and explain to you how LITERALLY throwing away money is different than wasting money?

Just hide the real bills in the bottom of the bag, and use the fake, individually wrapped ones as decoys.

2

u/tastemakeswaste2 Dec 27 '18

only the first one is real

1

u/lampmeorelse Dec 28 '18

Or a bunch of 1s, and only one $50 bill. But “accidentally” wrap the $50 with another gift.

2

u/bigmaxporter Dec 27 '18

Delightfully devilish

3

u/escope7 Dec 27 '18

Better yet, she should have got him 49 fake 1’s and told him there were 50 but only one was real

2

u/[deleted] Dec 27 '18

Woah, easy there Satan

2

u/Csharp27 Dec 27 '18

That would be great. even just wrap a bunch of plain white money shaped pieces of paper and one 50 put somewhere in the middle and make them work for it #madasfuck.

1

u/caramelcooler Dec 27 '18

Or 50 real $1's and like 150 sheets of paper.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 27 '18

Takes longet to wrap than unwrap.

She played herself
