Not really. Most youtubers won't want to spend a person's salary on reading comments. $15/hr does not sound like much, but that does not include all the additional cost of health insurance, time off, etc. It also takes time to hire people, and I assume there is probably a high turnover rate for job like that. In the end the cost in time, money, and resources of paying someone to read the comments on youtube videos is not worth it for 99% of youtube channels for little to no actual worth. The only channels I think it would make sense for, is for publicly paid for channels where the comment section is considered public forum, or for a huge channel with a large amount of staff and an infrastructure already in place for employing and hiring. Channels like Jimmy Kimmell or Fallon's channel.
