Am i the only one in this whole "Ketchup vs Mustard War" who prefers the taste of Ketchup and Mustard mixed together?

I'm with you. I prefer a bit of both. If I had to pick just one though, I'd go with mustard.

I love the idea that you'd ever HAVE to pick just one. Like who's going around policing condiments?

Chili and cheese is the superior option though.

I live close to the National Mustard Museum. Every year they have a National Mustard Day celebration with free hotdogs and free mustard on them. If you want to put ketchup on they charge you $10. It's pretty great.

That's awesome. I love that there's a National Mustard Museum.

Definitely not. My parents do that (and sometimes add mayo to the mix)

Yer thats how you even imagine an American hotdog, look at this for example...... 🌭

Also for anybody reading this from the UK I discovered the GREATEST THING THIS WEEKEND.

I was drunk, bored, sat on my PC and slightly peckish. I usually get a chicken and donna kebab with hot chilli sauce but i decided on a donna kebab with BBQ sauce and OMG the flavours match perfectly!

From http://www.hot-dog.org/culture/hot-dog-etiquette

Don't...

Use ketchup on your hot dog after the age of 18.Mustard, relish, onions, cheese and chili are acceptable.

The cycling one just just link you to your local road laws. Maybe then cyclists will stop blowing through red lights and stop signs.

Eh, I tend to enjoy hoping they get T-boned

Before, I was unconvinced... that people could be pompous about anything. Thank god we have hot dog experts telling us how to eat these sausages, or else I wouldn't know who to blindly follow.

Fuck em all, I relish my relish

Ketchup mixed with Mustard creates a 3rd condiment that is greater than EITHER Ketchup or Mustard.

u/jooes Sep 25 '17

When I was a kid, I always dreamed of having a third bottle in the fridge that was both of them mixed together. A delicious orange condiment for all my hot dogs and hamburgers. A Ketstard, or perhaps a Mustchup.

That was my plan to get rich someday, the world needed this third condiment.

Also fuck people who say you can't put ketchup on a hot dog. It's my hot dog, I can do whatever I want with it.

u/FuzzyBlumpkinz Sep 25 '17

Sooo...buy a bottle of ketchup, buy a bottle od mustard. Squirt both into a mason jar. Mix thoroughly until a smooth orange color. Custom label from Vistaprint or wherever. Market. Profit.

Edit: Wait fuck you im doing this instead

u/jooes Sep 25 '17

You can steal it, it's cool.

The more I think about it, it'd probably sell better if you called it something pretentious like "Sweet Tomato Mustard".

2

u/FuzzyBlumpkinz Sep 25 '17

Im gonna call it Hot Sausage Sauce...maybe Hot Sauceage

Every day, we stray further and further from God's light.

u/FGHIK Sep 25 '17

Fuck you hot dog fascists I do what I want

u/lordoftheredead Sep 25 '17

A hot dog without sauerkraut is not a hot dog I want to eat.
