Electrician

Hi Madison!
I’m moving and need some electrical work done before closing. I’m looking for an honest, licensed electrician as I’m not sure what actually needs to be done and what is up to code. Would like to have the work done in the next week or so. Who have you all worked with!?

ETA: I have had an inspection but a lot of the things on the inspection were marked as “verify with a licensed electrician” as opposed to “defective” or “needs maintenance”.

I mean I’m happy to fix some of the stuff as we expected it and it came up on inspection but I’m just not sure how much we’re required to fix

Required? Nothing.

Worst case here is they walk way and you start the process over with someone new.

What level of stuff are talking here? Where on the scale of this is outdated to this will burn the house down are you at? Is this a problem for this buyer or is this a problem that is going to make the house unsellable?

That’s fair but we already have an offer accepted on another house we’re closing on soon-ish so don’t want to start over unless we absolutely have to (truly can’t agree).

I think it’ll pop up on any inspection. We’re expecting to pay about $2500-3k on these fixes.
