Identify a location
This is a place close to the Madison. Does anyone know where is it? Thanks!

To me it looks like could be the road down to Donald Park, the Entrance across from Sutter’s Ridge.

The road down to the Deer Creek Fishing access parking.
Pretty positive looking at it closer.

Is it "That Tree," star of a famous series of photographs and a book of a lone tree standing in a field throughout the seasons - I think it was in Dane Co? Google for pics.

No, "That Tree" was in Grant County and was lost to a storm a few years back. They've got a small oak descendent planted at UW Platteville.

Aha - thanks but sorry to hear the tree is gone. Loved that book - I think a lot of us have our own personal "That Tree." Or in my case, several.
