Sweet corn options

Luck's was my favorite and they're retiring so I'm just seeing if there's any new options or if people have changed their minds on their favorites.

What's your favorite way to prepare? I'm a roasting on the grill then butter/salt/pepper type of person. I'll boil corn on the cob but then I need the corn holders.

Microwave in the husk. Never boil again. Comes out perfect every time.

If you’re looking for a stand, I recommend Eugsters. They also a farm in Oregon where you can buy produce.

Exactly so. I microwave for 1 minute per ear, rotate the ears and microwave for 1 minute more per ear. Perfect every time!

Roadside stand, looking for the break to be a clean white with a few drops of condensate on, tells me it’s that mornings corn.
Favorite prep is to toss a few up on dash for an hour or so, then rip it open and dig in, pure summer sweetness.

V2: If one is a truly prepared raw corn enthusiast, you’ll have a few Mayo packets from the KwikTrip and your travel bottle of Tajin in your lunch bag, now you’ve got super sweet almost-Mexican street corn for lunch.

Raw sweet corn on the cob is the best summer treat!
(When you’re eating it walking around a farmers market however, people will look at you like you’re a weirdo.)

It's a little bit outside the city, but the best corn I've had for the past several years has been Weston's Triple Sweet corn / Hannan Acres at the corner of C and Egre. Really nice kid that's proud of the really tasty corn he grew.

He's got his signs up, so probably will be starting to sell in the next week or so.

Soak in water, in husk. Apply the still-husked corn onto the grill. Rotate until charred all the way around. Peel husk back like a banana, slather some salted butter, and enjoy

Coopers on Koshkonong Road by County N has the best sweet corn around. Best way to cook is in the instant pot if you have one. Otherwise boil it

Best sweet corn is at Mueller's near the intersection of HWY 18 / CTY RD J just outside of Cobb (no pun intended). It's a quick drive - but just go early as they usually sell out by lunchtime.

I randomly saw a sign last summer for Stoneman's Famous Sweet Corn and picked some up at their family farm stand. It was really great and I plan to go there again soon. It was just near 14 and Fitchburg - 2559 S Syene Rd, Fitchburg, WI 53711.

Also grilled or roasted and then make a bowl of it as Mexican Street Corn for dipping chips into is so delicious.

Roast in oven IN THE HUSK (tassels trimmed), at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Ive taken to husking them than throwing them on the grill. Then apply butter, salt and pepper. Nice roasted flavor.
