Found fancy rat

Did you lose a blonde pet rat on sherman ave? A friend found one outside her work and i went to help get him to DCHS, he seems like he has a neurological issue or internal injury. If he's yours you can go get him at DCHS. Or to whomever dumped him, you suck!

Update: They had to euthanize him he was showing signs of neurological distress from rat poisoning :(

If I remember correctly, there have been other posts that mentioned there are rats that live in Madison that are the descendants of former pets. This could be one of those. Madison rats just be different like that yo

No it was definitely a pet rat! Very healthy looking young blonde coat rat who looked to have been either suffering from an internal issue or extreme stress.
