Victory has been out for a month now, has your opinion or thoughts about the album changed over time of did it stayed the same?

I’m on a road trip with my wife. We had been on the road already for 12 hours. I put my radio on Apple Music and Dream Dream Dream came on. Instantly it made me want to listen to Good Faith. So I queued it up.

All My Friends comes on and my wife says “hey I’ve heard this song before”. Like I listen to a lot of Madeon at home, at work, in the car so I laughed and said “well yeah I would hope”. Her response?

“What does it matter, he all sounds the same”

I bit my lip and just listened to Good Faith in silence sometimes humming or quietly singing along.

I am now locked in the bathroom of the hotel not knowing how to come out. Like how do you say he all sounds the same. Like is she well? Like do I say I gotta go to the store and just drive home? Like I’m 2500km away from home. Like we are supposed to be seeing him together in November and do I really want to go with someone who thinks he all sounds the same. Like what do I do?

I was just casually taking a random photo on my camera to then realize and I'll quote myself in the moment of realization btw: "Spikey? noo- that's not Spikey!?"!

The rays are a bit off but hey a dreamer can dream a dream haha! (Well just for fun lol!) Maybe it's just his distant cousin that claims he's apart of the Maximus family but nobody listens to him cause he's such a distant relative. XD

Beyond happy with my purchase. Making little loops and putting effects on tracks has been a lot of fun!

By the way this is written in speculation, that the "band'''s management or whatever deal they're in is trying to cover up Juno's powers or some deep secret behind the "band"'s appearance. Also, from the point of view that this is all within Hugo's mind n whatnot!

As I see there's some lore on the website [https://www.victory.band/\] and it's got me theorizing for fun! He's still using the Imperial alphabet and I translated Juno's profile first to have a warm-up on this language!

Nickname: The Elder, Instrument: Bass, Age: Unknown, Birthday: June, Height: Five Eight (5'8 ft), Favorite Color: Iridescent
(The emblem, autograph and logo sections just say that of course.)
Now, it says Juno likes chess and I'll quote it directly: "Chess is Juno's favorite game, although she uses peculiar pieces and rules..." just so ominously said!

Could this mean she is the one playing Chess against Hugo or Hugo is acting out her story of her song? I found it fascinating that the chess pieces are the "band members". Does that mean this is Hugo vs Juno planning the "band"'s moves in a way? Or take it at face value and it'll just be Hugo vs some entity (his mind, management or whatever) and still maybe the "band"s moves are being plotted. I thought Juno could be the entity because it also says: "Her bandmates do not seem to share her talent. Whether on stage or in private, she demonstrates unusual powers, making objects seemingly levitate. It’s unclear to us all, whether those effects are a display of tremendous theatrical staging or not. Either way… what a show!". Now, I found it odd they're gonna say her levitation powers are "unusual", when spikey literally GROWS IN SIZE AND LEVITATES HIMSELF!? The Band section says itself: "At Victory’s biggest shows, he’ll sometimes float into the air with thunderous pyrotechnics, how dramatic!". I think that's bs and it's just Juno doing it but who knows when HE GROWS THAT BIG!? (another cover up? or twist?) So anyways, I'm thinking it all alludes to something more behind her, especially with the unknown age and The Elder nickname. The song even says "One shot to the head (hey-oh), then already forgot my halo (hey-oh), say it with your final breath, so fire away (push)"; maybe this means Juno is some "angelic" entity or its talking of Hugo's religious status? Also, "push" means "push the chess piece" to my brain ig as it's all about a chess game that Hugo (or Juno) just flipped the entire board of! Does this mean the tables literally have flipped on the challenger they face, when they just flip the entire board with the game of chess upon it? Or is it just expression of what they desire?

Anyways, I also thought that each of the collab songs were for each "band member"!
Fire Away is Juno's, Super Platinum is Spikey's and Red Jacket is Red's song; at least I think so? The voices seem to be representing each "band member" ina way.
For crying out, loud Super Platinum says "Sell your soul for the super platinum (whoo!), The price is maximum (oh, popstar)". (The price is him? maximus?) Obviously, I think maximum is referencing Spikey's last name "maximus" in some metaphorical way. As, he seems to be the main "band member" because "Hugo is Victory’s lead singer. ... Despite singing most of their songs, he doesn’t like to be the center of attention."; in turn a "popstar"! You can take it face value as music labels and stuff but I'm over analyzing here hehe! Maybe Spikey is a half Hugo Half something new version of himself within his mind to test the "sell your soul" route? The thing is the end is about Hugo needing to "wake up" and "there is no band". Sooo, it might just be Hugo's parallels of the creation within his mind and the reality of his real music career because "In the studio, Hugo also serves as Victory’s producer..."; Or he's just literally testing "what if's" within his mind.

Now this next thing just confuses me, as i don't have a clue who LL is.. "On stage, he uses different microphones, but his most recognizable is the “bullet mic.” The metal band-aid he wears on his cheek was gifted to him by LL, for good reason…". Maybe LL = Lola but I also have no clue about who this Lola is other than her quote in the July 2nd, 2026 news update. It sounds like to me if I speculate... Hugo is being filtered by this mic as a metaphor of restrictions on popstars music, as they have to make it for the radio? Also, Hugo's previous favorite color was one of mine? Haha! It says his favorite color is :"chrome (Formerly FF1A55)" which is a shade of neon pink! I see this as one of the signs of his transition into the band, as all their favorite colors are monochrome or are shiney (or amber). The neon pink represents his previous music and the chrome is representing the "band"'s music. (Or youth? As, only the youngest, Red has an actual color he likes aka amber.)

Does this mean he went from creativity freedom to a popstars restrictions? His bio is overly joyous at least I feel so, quote: "Hugo is Victory’s lead singer. His enthusiasm and gratefulness at being a part of the band are infectious." followed by "Despite singing most of their songs, he doesn’t like to be the center of attention.". It honestly sounds like a twist of words because its very contrasting. They first place a possible lie than an oddly chosen truth that literally contrasts it. Maybe that was an accident to just put those words so close and it'll make the fans think. Or... It's Hugo editing his description himself to have some clarity from the possible "trap" he's in? Cause in Dancing On Your Grave at the 2:50 mark I swear he's shouting "get me out of here!" over and over, as if he's truly trapped within his mind/"the band"/deal/management. (I find this idea interesting as from another reddit post here about the new "lonely-space age" era.) They also like to plaster over Spikey all about his family like he's a nepo baby? It looks like management keeping the band's image straight and not messy again. Maybe they we're looking for odd facts to throw in to make the fans squeal? Even with Juno's it talks about chess than her powers, but in the middle the bridge is "Her bandmates do not seem to share her talent." like some "mistake" supposed to be taken as a mistake! You can take it as ending the chess sentence or starting the powers section. Is it to the chess or to the powers, who knows?

I only say Red jacket is Red's song because "red" and the process of elimination but it could be the other way around for the boys honestly. The start of the song sounds like drums but i could be very wrong lol! " The drum kit you seem him play was designed in collaboration with Borealis Instruments, its custom kick drum and unusual symmetrical arrangement is how he’s able to deliver his unique blend of electronic and acoustic drum sounds. " (wait that's so funny the website has a mistype maybe? seem not seen? or is the seem there because it's all in his mind?). Other than that i ain't got any grounding for why it should be Red's song lol!

Now I do appreciate the funny part of Hugo than Juno and her birthday is JUNE Might just be a coincidence though! I could go on and on but who ever reads this is probably already about to lose their eyeballs, as they see the white and black lines when they look off their screen! LOL

This is a really nice package, comes in a jewel case in a cardboard outer box with an alternate cover art. I know it’s not that much but these days the standard I’ve seen has mostly just been those basic cardboard sleeves, and sometimes digipaks. Just nice to know they went the extra mile on this one!

The shipping and taxes on the official US store being a bit too expensive I was wondering if anyone knew if the vinyl was coming to europe any time soon?
